Tennis as an excuse Culture as a game
Mini Open Tennis is much more than a tournament: it's a cultural platform where sport acts as a starting point to connect fashion, music, gastronomy and creativity. Conceived with an underground spirit, the event brings together an authentic community made up of friends, brands and figures from the creative scene in a close-knit, relaxed and carefully curated environment.
Although tennis is the excuse and remains an essential part, with its own competitive format, the true driving force of the event is the experience: the connection between people, the aesthetics and the collective energy. Each team represents a cultural universe, taking the name of projects, artists or figures linked to music, fashion, film or the creative industries, expanding the narrative beyond the game itself.
Mini Open Tennis maintains a clear philosophy: to preserve a close-knit, family-style format where fun, style and community come before the result, without losing the competitive edge that brings the court to life. An event that redefines tennis as a space for cultural expression and creative connection.

The project was born in 2024 as an experimental format with a small number of teams as a test, and since then it has evolved rapidly to establish itself as a steadily growing event.
The 2026 edition in Madrid will feature 50 teams, more than 11 courts in operation and an estimated attendance of over 1,000 people, positioning it as the largest edition to date.
The event has strengthened its identity at the intersection of sport and culture, integrating collaborations with entities such as Brunch Electronik, as well as a refined hospitality and VIP experience offering that extends its reach beyond the competition. This hybrid approach turns the Mini Open into a real meeting point between creative communities, brands and talent.
With a medium-term growth vision, the project is already working on new dates within its calendar. An edition in Ibiza is planned for October 2026, as well as a grand final whose location is yet to be confirmed, in addition to deals already closed that ensure the continuity and expansion of the format in the coming years.
Key dates:
Madrid — April 25, 2026
Ibiza — October 10, 2026
Grand Final — 2026 (location and date to be confirmed)
MINI OPEN TENNIS has established itself over three editions in Madrid and one in Ibiza, as a meeting point where contemporary sport and culture intertwine, building community and creating new ways of understanding tennis.
The project is driven by MINI, a store internationally recognized as one of the key references in urban fashion, thus cementing its role as a meeting point for Madrid's most influential scenes.
